Outside Rental Sales Representative

Location: Eagle Power’s Territory: Bucks (PA), Cecil (MD), Chester (PA), Delaware (PA), Hunterdon (NJ), Mercer (NJ), Montgomery (PA), New Castle (DE), Philadelphia (PA), Somerset (NJ) Counties

About Us

Eagle Power is a trusted provider of construction equipment solutions, serving contractors, developers, and municipalities with top-quality machinery and outstanding service throughout the Delaware Valley. As we expand our rental operations, we're looking for a driven Outside Rental Sales Representative to grow our rental customer base and maximize equipment fleet utilization in the field.

Position Overview

The Outside Rental Sales Representative is responsible for identifying new rental opportunities, building strong customer relationships, and driving revenue growth within the assigned territory. This is a field-based role ideal for a self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment. We are looking for a team member who can become a valued member of our team, someone with clear communication skills to coordinate with internal and customer stakeholders to ensure the highest level of professionalism and customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prospect and develop new rental accounts within assigned territory
  • Maintain and grow relationships with existing customers
  • Promote the rental of construction equipment, including earthmoving, compaction, and specialty machines
  • Conduct job site visits to assess equipment needs and provide tailored solutions
  • Coordinate with the rental operations team to ensure timely delivery and customer satisfaction
  • Track sales activity, prepare quotes, and maintain accurate records in CRM
  • Meet or exceed monthly rental revenue goals
Qualifications
  • 5+ years of outside sales experience, preferably in construction equipment, industrial services, or a related field
  • Strong knowledge of construction equipment and applications
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
  • Proven ability to manage a sales pipeline and close deals
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
  • Self-motivated and goal-oriented with strong organizational skills
  • Familiarity with CRM, business management systems (CDK preferred) and Microsoft Office

We are seeking a dedicated, driven, and outgoing Territory Sales Representative to serve and grow our customer base in Somerset County, NJ. This is a key opportunity to help expand Eagle Power Kubota’s market share by developing new business and strengthening ties with existing clients.

Job Responsibilities
  • Prospect and develop new customer relationships in the construction, agricultural, and landscaping markets
  • Conduct onsite visits to municipalities, construction jobsites, farms and other businesses to understand equipment needs
  • Present equipment solutions, offer demos, explain financing and protection plans, and close deals
  • Provide post-sale follow-up to ensure customer satisfaction and encourage repeat business
  • Stay up-to-date on Kubota equipment features, specs, and competitive advantages
  • Utilize CRM tools to manage your pipeline and track customer interactions
Quailifications
  • Proven sales success, preferably in construction equipment, agriculture, or commercial turf industries
  • Highly motivated and goal-oriented with strong communication and negotiation skills
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
  • Knowledge of heavy equipment or farming operations is a strong plus
  • Comfortable using technology, CRM tools, and mobile apps in your daily workflow
