Heavy Equipment Technician - 3rd Class (Union Position)

Position Overview:

Eagle Power and Equipment is seeking dedicated and professional Heavy Equipment Technicians to join our team at our Montgomeryville, PA, and New Castle, DE locations. This is a union position offering competitive benefits and opportunities within a family-owned company committed to growth and customer service excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on heavy equipment, particularly CASE and Kubota construction equipment. Knowledge of other brands will also be considered.
Service and repair Allied RAMMER Hammers and other hydraulic attachments.
Complete work efficiently and accurately according to OEM Standard Repair Times.
Utilize computer systems for diagnostics and repair documentation.
Travel as necessary for OEM training.

Requirements:

Mechanical Knowledge: Minimum 1 year (Required).
Experience: Previous experience as a heavy equipment technician, preferably with CASE or Kubota equipment.
Computer Proficiency: Ability to use computers for diagnostics and documentation.
Travel: Willingness to travel up to 25% for OEM training (Preferred).
Driver's License: Valid driver's license (Preferred).

Lube Technician For Heavy Construction Equipment

Position Overview:

Eagle Power and Equipment is seeking a skilled and dedicated Heavy Construction Equipment Lube Technician to join our team. This role involves performing routine maintenance, lubrication, and minor repairs on a variety of heavy construction equipment. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical aptitude and a commitment to providing high-quality service.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform routine lubrication and preventative maintenance on heavy construction equipment.
Conduct inspections and identify potential issues or needed repairs.
Replace filters, check fluid levels, and perform minor repairs as needed.
Maintain detailed service records and documentation.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
Work closely with other technicians and service staff to ensure smooth operations.
Provide excellent customer service by addressing client needs and concerns.

Qualifications:

1 year of experience in diesel engine repair (preferred).
1 year of mechanical knowledge and hands-on experience with heavy equipment (preferred).
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Valid driver's license.
Clean driving record for the last 2 years.
Ability to lift and move heavy equipment and parts.
Familiarity with computers and use of digital workorder software
